Music is for Sharing

Mr. David is an experienced music educator who owns more than 200 child-friendly instruments from all over the world. Every autumn he introduces the children to international music, electronic music, the instruments of the orchestra, music theory, and the elements of rhythm and song. It is amazing see toddlers explore a music/light synthesizer and to hear three-year-olds play the slide trombone. Mr. David's theme is "Music is for Sharing" and we are fortunate to have him sharing his love of music with us.

We are committed to supporting the physical health, well-being, and gross-motor development of all of our students. When the weather gets cold, we keep moving. We provide the children with an extra opportunity to stay fit by bringing in Tumblebus, a custom-designed gymnastics-based program for early education childcare centers. Tumblebus is more fun than recess and more creative than gym class. It is a much-beloved part of our annual curriculum.

In House Field Trips

Throughout the year, we bring in a number of educational programs to complement our already wonderful curriculum. Our regular in-house field trips include Rags to Riches Theatre for Young Audiences, a theatre group that entertains the young and the young at heart with stories pulled from history, literature and fantasy. We also enjoy visits from the Fire Truck, the Bee Keeper, the Dentist and the Travelling Tortoise, a mobile science program that introduces children to the fascinating world of herpetology (reptiles and amphibians).
